The Michigan Technological University Network offers a variety of networking opportunities at alumni events and wanted a way to increase alumni participation at the events if they were unable to attend or after the event was over. Our Event Amplify program during their Winter Carnival event did just this and yielded great results. We were able to get 62,560 alumni and friends engaged with the event over Facebook and resulted in 3,305 alumni entries into the giveaway.
